MEKO Stylus Deep-Dive Review: What We Discovered After 30 Days of Daily Use

✏️ 1. Build Quality After One Month — Surprisingly Durable

We carried the stylus everywhere: in bags, backpacks, cases, on the iPad itself.
After 30 days:

  • No loose parts

  • No wobbling nib

  • No scratches beyond normal micro–wear

  • Magnetic attachment still firm

The metal body feels solid, and compared to many lightweight budget styluses, the MEKO pen doesn’t develop rattles or wiggle over time.
For long-term everyday use, that’s a huge green flag.

2. Writing Experience — Still Smooth, Still Consistent

Cheap styluses usually show issues after a few days:

  • Glitches

  • Unresponsive strokes

  • Delayed lines

  • Random skips

We specifically checked for these problems over the month — none appeared.

What stood out most:

  • Palm rejection stayed accurate in every app

  • Lines remained stable with no jitter

  • Tilt-shading worked consistently (for models with tilt support)

Notably, the writing feel didn’t degrade, which often happens with low-quality pens after the nib wears down.

🔋 3. Battery Life — Better Than Expected

Real-world battery testing matters more than specs on paper.

After 30 days of mixed use:

  • Average runtime: 10–12 hours per full charge

  • Charging time: around 15–20 minutes (fast!)

  • Battery did not show early degradation

  • Auto-sleep function worked reliably

We intentionally left the stylus unused for days sometimes — it always woke up instantly, with no pairing issues.

🧲 4. Usability With iPad Models — 2018 Through 2025

We tested the stylus on:

  • iPad Pro 2018

  • iPad Air 4

  • iPad Pro 2021

  • iPad 10th Gen

  • iPad Pro 2024

Across all devices:

  • No pairing failures

  • No sudden disconnections

  • No pressure or tilt inconsistency

For an Apple Pencil alternative, stable cross-model compatibility is crucial. MEKO passed easily.

🖊️ 5. App Compatibility — Not Just for Note-Taking

We tested the stylus with:

  • Procreate

  • GoodNotes

  • Notability

  • Sketchbook

  • OneNote

  • Figma

Results:

  • Note-taking feels Apple-Pencil-level smooth

  • Outline drawing is fast and responsive

  • Procreate pressure/tilt features work as expected (on supported models)

For users who multitask between writing and drawing, MEKO holds up far better than most budget brands.

🧪 6. Long-Term Comfort — Zero Fatigue Issues

We used the stylus for hours at a time.
The ergonomics matter more during long sessions.

After 30 days:

  • No finger soreness

  • No grip slipping

  • Weight balance stayed comfortable

  • Matte finish aged well without becoming slippery

Compared to many glossy styluses, MEKO maintains a premium writing feel even after heavy use.
